Studying Dutch Linguistics, Literature & Culture at Leiden University has been one of the greatest experiences
of my life. Eventhough I wasn't a young student, I still felt deeply connected to the developing world of science.
Now the knowledge I was allowed to obtain, seems to keep me alert, more than I have ever been. Language is such a beautiful
instrument to use on any occasion in life. Language brings people together, opens hearts and souls, makes it possible to share
thoughts and wisdom. I wish I could learn even more, like understanding Italian, Spanish, Greek and Latin, besides Dutch,
French, English and German, which already are belo-ved languages to me. So I am always searching for ways to look at
life further abroad...
I do hope this website will be discovered by those who feel the same way. With them I would love to share
thoughts and dreams... Dreams of a better world? Yes, most certainly that! Let's tell eachtother about our different homelands
and cultures. Let's be worldcitizens, humanists...
